CARNIVAL BY THE SEA

The whole Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole community is invited to come out and play as part of a spectacular Carnival Parade.

This is your chance to join us in creating a special carnival performance as part of the Arts by the Sea festival.

About The Project

250+ community performers from across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and beyond will have the opportunity to work with internationally acclaimed Carnival artists to develop a breath-taking processional piece, which explores our local and globally connected cultural heritage, while celebrating and nurturing our communities’ incredible talents and creativity.

Think beautiful giant puppets, incredible Carnival costume, funky drumbeats, colourful flags and high energy dance choreography animated by a unique cast – now is your chance to add your stamp and be a part of it!

We are delighted to be able to invite you to join us on this adventure and form part of the cast for this amazing event.

This is your opportunity to share your energy and talents with our local communities and beyond, and to shed some love and light after what’s been a challenging time for many.

All levels of experience are welcome, and all we ask is your commitment.
