International Study Visits (ISV)
The majority of the training will be delivered locally in Mossley. However the group will host a visit by active citizens from the UK and abroad and they will meet local groups in Tameside who are making a positive impact. Global Grooves will nominate up to two people to attend a week-long visit in the UK or abroad, also visiting community projects to learn how others are working. ISVs are a small but important part of the learning, connecting you to global networks and inspiring change locally.
The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. Participants will be part of a global programme that’s been delivered in 75 countries worldwide by the British Council and is in its 10th year of delivery.
