Following a period of significant growth, Global Grooves is looking to appoint a highly experienced and strategic fundraising professional with a proven track record of securing significant income through bid writing, tenders, corporate partnerships and other fundraising to join our exceptional team.

We’re seeking to appoint an experienced and versatile Marketing and Communications Manager, who will devise and deliver strategies (relating to marketing, comms, audience and new business development) to achieve our financial and audience targets in collaboration with the wider Global Grooves team. And help to elevate the work of Global Grooves as leader in our sector.

We are offering an opportunity to create new  biodegradable art works for a community event on the 6th April at The Vale and Mossley Heritage Centre. This is a paid opportunity with a commission fee of £5,000 available. 

The event is a celebration day to promote walking to The Vale through our new 'Trails to The Vale' initiative.

We are delighted to bring to you a series of FREE lantern making sessions (Dates below) so you can take part in Tameside Winter Carnival 2023, 5:30pm 18th November.

We are delighted to be able to share that we have been awarded a Sustainability Fund grant from Saddleworth Community Hydro. This funding is a big step towards our target of Net Zero by 2030 in line with Greater Manchester. In addition it will increase our engagement of local communities and young people in sustainability and the environment.

Global Grooves is amongst a handful of arts and cultural organisations that have been singled out as nationally important for the work they do. In the case of Mossley's Global Grooves, this means creating uplifting, hands-on Carnival experiences for hundreds of people of all ages every year. Next year, it will celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Homelessness charity Emmaus Mossley is planning a carnival as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations and is appealing for performers to get involved.
